Snyder School after 1923
Gladys Rastetter Mason reported that the Snyder school continued to function as an independent district until 1947, when it was annexed by Plainview. There may well be people now living in Hale County (or other places, for that matter) who remember their school days at the Snyder brick school. For example, a youngster who was eight years old when he or she attended the school in 1946 would be sixty-nine during the 2007 Snyder Community Centennial. I hope to hear from someone.
