Non-Mennonite Families
Several non-Mennonite families lived in the area of the Snyder Community during the early years, when the Mennonites were moving in. These names I gleaned from Hale County History. As I gather more data about these folks, I will develop family pages for them. Submissions would be greatly appreciated!
John H. BUNTIN and Alice ROSSER - moved to Hale county in 1890, from Old Mobeetie, TX. He bought four sections of land for ranching and farming, some of which he sold later to Mennonite families.
