Henry J. and Veda G. (Thompson) Ellis

(These are the basic facts I have for this family, listed here to help guide the research process. As photos, family stories, and other data are submitted, I hope to develop a narrative.)

   Henry and Veda Ellis bought the Ferd Rastetter farm in 1927, when the Rastetters moved into Plainview. The Ellises, who were Baptists, lived there from December 18, 1927 until they moved into Plainview in 1950.1

    Veda G. - aged 45, married at age 18, born in Texas, father born in Alabama, mother born in Texas
    Ora E. - 27-year-old single daughter, born in Texas
    Gladys - 23-year-old single daughter, born in Texas
    Grady D. - 21-year-old single son, born in Texas; farmer
    Elmo V. - 19-year-old single son, born in Texas; farmer
    Cleo E. - 16-year-old daughter, born in Texas
    Glen H. - 13-year-old son, born in Texas
    Oleta - 6-year-old daughter, born in Texas
